The Sun Microsystems IT Journalism awards were held on 8 April, and I won Best General Technology Journalist.

The IT Journo write up of the event said: “Perhaps the most competitive award was the new category, Best General Technology Journalist, which went to
freelance journalist Sarah Stokely.”

I was a finalist in two other categories, Best Technology Industry Journalist, and Best Games Journalist.
